The NI 9882 is a 1-port, high-speed DeviceNet C Series module interface for NI CompactRIO. It adds high-performance master/scanner or slave capabilities to DeviceNet networks for CompactRIO hardware.

NI 9882 DeviceNet interfaces are shipped with NI-Industrial Communications for DeviceNet software, which provides a LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA API. This is a common API that is used for both PCI/PXI and the CompactRIO module. It allows you to programmatically view all connected DeviceNet slaves on the network and configure settings on the fly.

Note: The NI 9882 module works in NI cRIO-911x chassis using an NI cRIO-901x or cRIO-902x real-time controller.
