The NI PXI-8430/8 is a high-performance, 8-port serial interface for high-speed communication with RS232 devices at rates of up to 1 Mbit/s. High-performance RS232 interfaces are also available in 2- and 4-port versions. The PXI-8430/8 offers flexible baud rates for data transmissions between 57 baud and 1,000,000 baud to within 1 percent accuracy for nonstandard baud rates and 0.01 percent accuracy for standard baud rates.
