For applications requiring high-power or extended duration switching, field relay replacement is often a necessity to avoid system downtime. While the Axicom IM42GR relay has an excellent mechanical lifetime rating of 100 million cycles, it can derate to as low as 10 thousand cycles at full-power loads. So field replacement should be considered.
