The NI LabVIEW Real-Time Vision Development Bundle is a LabVIEW add-on that includes all the software you need to program your real-time machine vision applications for NI Embedded Vision Systems, NI Compact Vision Systems, and NI Smart Cameras. The bundle includes the following:
- NI Vision Development Module
- LabVIEW Real-Time Module
- LabVIEW Application Builder
Using LabVIEW graphical programming and the Vision Development Module, you can develop your highly customized real-time machine vision applications on a desktop PC and then download the program to run on your real-time target. You also have the option to develop your own custom image processing algorithms, optimize your inspection for speed, or take advantage of the large selection of add-ons that complement the LabVIEW environment.
The Vision Development Module includes the NI Vision Assistant, an interactive prototyping environment that generates ready-to-run code. The module also features NI Vision Acquisition Software, which you can use to acquire, display, save, and monitor images from GigE Vision, IEEE 1394, and DirectShow USB devices; Camera Link, analog, and parallel digital cameras; and NI Smart Cameras.
You can purchase all of the modules you need separately or through NI Developer Suite, a modular product offering with which you can select software components based on your application needs. With an NI Developer Suite subscription, you have access to software as updates are available and direct access to technical support from NI applications via phone and e-mail.
