• Up to 2 GHz of RF modulation bandwidth for frequencies below 3.2 GHz
• Achieve up to 32 MHz of signal deviation with the FM modulator at low carrier frequencies
• Improved pulse leveling performance below 3.2 GHz

Option H18 works together with Option 016 (Wideband External I/Q Inputs) to provide wideband IQ modulation of up to 2 GHz at frequencies below 3.2 GHz.

Typical application

Option H18 enables the generation of wideband signals in the L and S bands for high symbol rate custom modulation, multicarrier signal generation, and fast frequency hopping within the modulation bandwidth for satellite, aerospace/defense, broadband communications, and component test applications requiring wide modulation bandwidth

This option cannot be added as a product upgrade only available at time of purchase.
