It is possible to simultaneously measure output power and matching
of RF transmitters from 200 MHz to 4 GHz by using the new Directional Power Sensor R&S ® FSH-Z 44. Connected directly at the transmitter output, the analyzer, equipped with the
R&S ® FSH-Z 44, shows the power that is output by the transmitter in W or dBm
as well as the return loss or the VSWR of the antenna under operating conditions. Because the maximum load is 120 W, it is usually not necessary to have a power attenuator. To enable the
power display for modulated signals to be corrected, the R&S ® FSH 3 allows
the most common transmission standards to be specified, i.e. GSM / EDGE, 3GPP WCDMA, cdmaOne, cdma2000 1X, DVB-T and DAB.
