Dust Detective and Microdust Pro Laboratory Enclosure Systems
The Dust Detective enclosure is a useful accessory for the Microdust Pro monitor when used in fixed location measurements. It provides protection for the unit when used on the edge of a quarry or construction site for boundary dust measurements and houses the Microdust and probe plus the size selective adaptor 151280. A standard sample pump such as a Tuff 3 is available to add to the case to actively draw air in through the inlet port to the optical probe where the Microdust monitors the concentration levels in the surrounding air. The changing levels are data logged into the memory of the Microdust for oater download and inspection using the Insight software package. The 176153A adaptor is for fixed monitoring situations such as process control applications where a constant flow of air is needed to monitor a potentially hazardous area that may contain high levels of particulates.
