Adapters for Microdust Pro
The Casella Microdust Pro measures the total suspended particulate concentration by default. It is possible to measure for other specific size fractions by means of adaptors that fit over the optical probe. A standard air sampling pump draws the sample through the adaptor and the Microdust Pro only sees the size of particles that match the adaptor characteristics selected by the user. Respirable, aspirated, gravimetric, size selective and laboratory adapters are all available for the Microdust Pro monitors. A pump such as the Tuff range is suitable to use with the Microdust Pro and these adaptors.
