The FOT-02 and FOT-10A Power Meters are accurate, lightweight, and designed to withstand the rigors of field testing. Their compact cases make them most suitable for LAN installation and maintenance applications. These power meters are ideal for continuity testing and measuring transmitter output power. The FOT-10A series also functions for fiber identification with 2 kHz signals.
The power meters are microprocessor driven and feature EXFO's linear amplification technology for long-term calibration. Measurement uncertainty is traceable to NIST. The FOT-10A series features five calibration wavelengths (three for the FOT-02), accurate dBm power readings, and auto-off capability. A large LCD indicates power and operating wavelength data. A simple two-button operation is all that is needed.
