ATSC is a standard developed by Advanced Television System Committee to transmit the terrestrial digital TV signal in USA replacing the analog NTSC system. ATSC is only optimized for a fixed reception in the typical North American environment and uses 8VSB modulation.
Option UFP simplifies the creation of ATSC modulated signal which are fully validated and optimized for RF performance. Easily generate ATSC ideal signal or signal with frequency error, clock error, AWGN, I/Q impairments, multi-paths or multi-carriers to test the transmitter component, receiver performance test, receiver chipset design, receiver module integration or receiver manufacturing. Create ATSC signals with data pattern as payload for BER test or with ColorBar sample or MPEG2-TS file as payload with seamless playback for subjective test.
This option can be added as a product upgrade.
