Signal creation

• Configure single and multi-carrier (up to 3 carriers) signals for 802.11a/b/g/j/p
• Provides fully coded signals with convolutional coding and simple configuration of MAC headers, MAC FCS, and sequence control
• Supports different coding rates and modulation types (OFDM, DSSS, and PBCC)
• Add baseband I/Q impairments

Use case

• Verify demodulation and decoding of WLAN ASICs and transceivers
• Perform packet error rate (PER) tests on receivers

Licensing

• Fixed, perpetual license (Option QFP)
• May be available as a transportable license (Option QTP) and floating license (Option QNP)
• License individual waveforms for your X-Series or ESG signal generator using 5-pack or 50-pack

Option QFP simplifies the creation of physical layer fully coded signals for testing 802.11a/b/g/j/p receivers. Option EFP is required to use option QFP.

This option can be added as a product upgrade.
