Signal creation

• Configure single- and multi-carrier 802.11 a/b/g/j/p WLAN signals
• Create statistically correct signals for component test with partial channel coding (scrambling applied but no convolutional coding, no MAC header/FCS)
• Different data rates and modulation types (OFDM, DSSS and PBCC)
• Add impairments such as I/Q gain balance and quadrature angle adjustment and up to 20 paths of static multipoint reflection

Use case

• Test transmission or receiver chain components such as preamplifiers, filters, combiners, or amplifiers

Licensing

• Fixed, perpetual license (Option EFP)
• May be available as a transportable license (Option ETP) and floating license (Option ENP)
• License individual waveforms for your X-Series or ESG signal generator using 5-pack or 50-pack

Option EFP simplifies the creation of spectrally correct 802.11a/b/g/j/p signals for testing transmitter or receiver components such as power amplifiers or filters.

This option can be added as a product upgrade.
