Option 012 provides the ability to configure a multi-transmitter, phase-coherent test stimulus for MIMO and beamforming test. Enabling multiple EXGs to share a common LO, Option 012, combined with EXG precision baseband playback synchronization, is a cost-effective solution for Mx2 MIMOin just four rack unitsand easily extendable up to four EXG phase-coherent test systems.

Signal Studio software further simplifies signal creation and playback with EXG phase-coherent systems for LTE, WiMAX, and WLAN receiver test. From the software, automatically download waveforms, set-up triggering, and playback synchronization.

This option can be added as a product upgrade.
