Signal analysis

Measurements

• Analyze overall signal quality with peak and RMS EVM, constellation, data burst, SIG info and more
• Pinpoint signal impairments with EVM results for pilots, data, preamble fields, vs. time (symbol) and vs. frequency (carrier)
• Evaluate time and frequency domain behavior with time, spectrum, CCDF, PDF traces for each channel
• Detect automatically, or based on SIG symbols, the modulation format, number of spatial streams and result length

Other features

• WLAN 802.11ac modulation analysis (Option BHJ) is also available
• Transportable license: resides on your PC/instrument, can be transported to another PC/instrument at any time
• Also available as a Floating license: shared on a network server to be accessed by multiple users

The 89600 VSA software is a comprehensive set of tools for demodulation and vector signal analysis. Option B7Z provides modulation analysis of WLAN 802.11n signals. With up to 4x4 MIMO signals, the flexible display and auto-detection of key signal parameters is essential in troubleshooting and evaluating 802.11n signals.

This option can be added as a product upgrade.
