When you need the added measurement assurance of one micro-ohm resolution, the 4150ATC is an excellent choice. It's 20mV pre-amp sensitivity permits high resolution resistance measurement with a minimum amount of test current. Thermistor, strain gauge and contact resistance testing are just a few of the many applications where the 4150ATC's low power dissipation in the test sample is needed to maintain measurement integrity.
The 4150ATC provides six pushbutton selectable resistance ranges from 20mW full scale (1 µ ohm resolution) to 2000 ohms. The 4½ digit integrating voltmeter provides .005% resolution which equates to one microvolt per count. The built-in patented constant current source provides low noise, stable output current from 1 ampere to ampere 10 microamperes. Up to five volts can be dropped across the load and associated series resistance while maintaining constant current output.
